WHAT IS CODESMITH?

Codesmith is a software engineering program that prepares students to join teams as engineers at the best companies.

Students join Codesmith with a grounding in the fundementals of software engineering. Some students come from a CS background specifically or are CS majors. They then spend 3-6 months rapidly developing the engineering skills and experience with production code.

Our students know computer science principles (data structures and algorithms, complexity analysis and OOP), full stack development and the latest frameworks - notably ReactJS and ReactJS native.

WHAT WE DELIVER

TALENTED ENGINEERS

Learn the fundamentals of computer science including algorithms, time complexity, data structures and memory management - areas often glossed over by other coding bootcamps - which form the backbone of modern programming.

EXCELLENT WEB DEVELOPERS

Yet our graduates are also ready to build from day one. By the time our graduates finish their studies they have built at least 2 production-ready web applications using the latest technologies - ReactJS, Angular, Node/Express, MongoDB, MySQL, Grunt, Gulp.

CREATIVE PEOPLE

We select from hundreds of applicants to shape our class, meaning that whether a student enters with a CS Masters, an MBA from Wharton, or has run a $250k/year business, they have excelled and now bring that broad creative excellence to their work as software engineers.

WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT CODESMITH GRADUATES?

We work with our graduates for nearly 6 months (or nearly 800 hours) and we're ready to vouch for their abilities. You'll have the opportunity to meet our graduates at our Recruitment event, where you'll be able to see the projects they've worked on and meet with multiple exceptional engineers.

OUR RECRUITMENT EVENT

At our recruitment event, Codesmith graduates present their final projects to a group of employers. After seeing the students projects you then have the opportunity to sit down with each graduate and talk through the technical interests and skills.
